Pakistani buyers should not be disappointed following the exploding Note 7 batteries because Samsung is about to give them the tempting Galaxy S8. Samsung is desperate to keep its brand name in the Smartphone industry and its improvising the new phone by building an outclass screen.

The investor reports, “

Samsung Display would roll out a full-screen display whose display area ratio (a scale that measures space taken up by a display on the front part of a handset) reaches more than 90 percent next year

The screen is said to be based on organic light emitting diode technology, an improvement that will lead to cost savings for both the customer and Samsung. OLED display could benefit in the sense of flexibility of the screen and light weightiness. To add the cherry on top, customers can expect a better picture quality due to greater artificial contrast ratio and better power efficiency and response time when compared to the older LCD models. Samsung also points out that the full screen display with assist in a more impressive viewing for virtual devices, especially for devices such as Samsung’s Gear VR and Google’s Daydream VR. It is also being said that Samsung is inclined towards a bendable Virtual Reality device incorporated with a flexible OLED display that can bent to cover the users’ eyes from corner to corner.

All of these still stands as rumors, however, Samsung has confirmed that massive investments in being made for the development of the technology.

At the same time, Samsung has presented a demo image for an edge to edge on the Galaxy S7 Edge. The concept shows a full screen without the home button. Such a concept would enable all sensors to work from under the screen, including the new home button. It raises the question if Samsung is also following the footsteps of Apple into erasing the home button from their mobile phones.

iPhone 8 is also rumored to be the first phone that Apple will introduce its OLED display with. At the end it will be the 10th Anniversary phone for Apple and they better make it ‘Big like Always’.

Among other things, Samsung is expected to overhaul the Galaxy S8 with improved Artificial Intelligence, a longer last battery and fine equipped camera pack.
