I would like to quote the words of Steve Jobs, who said

Get closer than ever to your customers. So close that you tell them what they need well before they realize it themselves.

Apple seems to be following in the very footsteps of the Co-Founder as they always come up with ideas that are so inspiring that the iPhone users keep on buying their phones. We are pretty sure that the fundamental nature of iPhone won’t change but its human instinct that it asks for more and same goes for ‘technology’. Well, with the New Year comes a new iPhone with more innovation and more promises. There is a rise in online chatter about the radically redesigned iPhone 8. Many designers out there have posted iPhone 8 designs that might be closer to the upcoming iPhone this year in September 2017.

Designer Moe Slah’s design is gathering huge traffic from all over the world and it’s heavily anchored from in the rumors. His concept phone features a 5.8-inch OLED display. The top and bottom and bezels seems to be minimal. Though, we can’t draw any conclusions about the wraparound curved display from Slah’s designs but another designer “IskanderUtebayev” seems to be promoting a curved display. However, we are optimistic that the new phones won’t be curved as much as Samsung Galaxy S7’s.

The fingerprint sensor seems to be migrated on to the screen itself. Slah’s concept phone has physical volume and mute buttons on the side, however, we assume Apple might go beyond that and replace them with a virtual solution. The revamped user interface for music, lock and unlock screen has a much more cleaner look in the concept designs.

Apple is rumored to be secretly partnering up with European chip-maker STMicroelectronics for iPhone 8 chips as we have them Apple’s 2016 flagships the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Analysts suggests that new phone would come with a new type of proximity sensor i.e. Time of Flight sensor(ToF) on the front side. The ToF sensor is being used by the some of the high end smartphones for e.g. Huawei P9, LG P5. A new facial and gesture recognition is rumored to be in play as well in the upcoming phone.
